The collective efforts of our funded agencies over the past seven decades is nothing short of amazing. Our impact extends far beyond financial contributions. We look to the long-term success of the agencies, not just the immediate needs of their services. Our impact is reflected in the collaborations forged with local organizations and unified actions that improve situations, drive generational change, and bring about real sustainable outcomes.
No single agency or program initiative can meet all of our community's needs alone. When you give to United Way

Ever changing resources are our lifeline. Because the United Way of Cleveland County is so deeply rooted in our county, we are with confidence able to mobilize and deploy a variety
of resources. Instead of spotlighting negativity, problems or issues, we work together to take action on our community’s shared aspirations.
We believe in the efficient and wise stewardship of the programs administered by our qualified partner agencies and back their proven outcomes to successfully bridge gaps and improve the quality of life of our neighbors.
Our impact strategy is community-minded and goal oriented. We stay focused and informed through data-driven research, development and evaluation, listening and talking with the community and agencies to determine what the needs are, the gaps to be filled, and the concerns that matter most. We relate to the reality of our neighbor’s lives and have their best interest at heart to improve the well-being across our county.
Our main goal is to help people. To do that we have to help our agencies. Each of our 24 agencies is an expert in their field. They are on the front lines in our community, identifying areas of need and bridging the gaps. Many of our agencies rely on United Way of Cleveland County to be able to do what they do. Thousands of people each year utilize these programs that very well may not exist without United Way support.
